Pet Connect SA was created for EVERYONE to post in ONE place.
When a pet is lost or found it may be shared on many different groups, networks and social media platforms and while the person who lost the pet is networking in one place, the person who found it might post elsewhere.
With Pet Connect SA you can post or search by species, by breed, by date and/or by location. For any and all pets in South Africa. By sharing in one place we can all find each other.
In addition, pets available for adoption or needing foster care are also posted.

Founder Vanessa Fitzpatrick, while battling with Multiple Sclerosis and surviving breast cancer, has dedicated over a decade to rescuing, fostering, and reuniting lost and abused dogs with loving homes.
Vanessa’s journey into animal rescue began with fostering dogs, a passion that led her to collaborate with various shelters across South Africa. Recognising the need for a centralised platform to reunite lost pets with their owners, Fitzpatrick, with the assistance of a developer, launched www.petconnect.co.za. This innovative app, and website, allows users to post and search for lost and found pets, streamlining the process of reuniting families with their beloved animals.
Vanessa Fitzpatrick’s story is a powerful reminder of how personal adversity can be transformed into a force for good, benefiting both individuals and the broader community.
